The untradeable contract was traded Thursday.

The Maple Leafs dealt David Clarkson to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Nathan Horton, ending the Toronto chapter of what can only be described as a colossal free-agent signing mistake.

Clarkson played 118 games for his hometown team, scoring 15 goals and adding 11 assists for a total of 26 points.

In the spirit of Ville Leino, we bring you all 15 of Clarkson's goals in the blue and white. Never forget.

No. 15: The final goal

On Jan. 21, 2015, Clarkson scored for the last time as a Leaf against the Ottawa Senators. A fitting end.

No. 14: Through Grossmann's legs

One of Clarkson's nicer goals, as he used Nick Grossmann as a screen, firing the puck through the defender's legs.

No. 13: Empty-netter

Let no one say Clarkson can't finish.

No. 12: Holtby never had a chance

Snipe.

No. 11: Beats Bishop through traffic

Daniel Winnik did all the work.

No. 10: Deflection 1

Only 15 goals, and one of them came against the Buffalo Sabres.

No. 9: Deflection 2

Clarkson did his best work in front of the net, and against the Senators.

No. 8: Deflection 3

Another tip-in goal, against what became his new team.

No. 7: Blocker side on Halak

Everyone knows to go blocker side on Jaroslav Halak. Even Clarkson.

No. 6: Go to the net

Sometimes good things happened when Clarkson went to the net.

No. 5: Breakaway magic

Undoubtedly the nicest goal Clarkson scored as a Leaf.

No. 4:  Short side

Clarkson rendered Tim Thomas motionless on this one.

No. 3: 100

Clarkson's 100th goal of his career was his ugliest as a Leaf.

No. 2: Deflection 4

No Leaf was better at tipping pucks in, that much is clear.

No. 1: Top shelf

Clarkson's first goal as a Leaf came at home in Toronto in his 11th game, and it was a beauty. It was a simpler time.
