The Vancouver Canucks thought they found a way past Devan Dubnyk in the third period of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Wild, but their celebrations were short-lived.

Officials conferred after the play and determined Dubnyk was unable to play his position due to Radim Vrbata's position in Minnesota's crease. They disallowed the goal, and the decision did not sit well with the Canucks or their fans.

Thomas Vanek scored for the Wild shortly after the disallowed goal, increasing Minnesota's lead to 3-0. Ronalds Kenins and Daniel Sedin scored 61 seconds apart to give the Canucks some life, but the contest ended in a 4-2 victory for the Wild.
