Panthers place Dylan Olsen on waivers

Teams in need of blue line help may be looking to the waiver wire.

The Florida Panthers have placed defenseman Dylan Olsen on waivers, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA.

Olsen, 24, has appeared in 116 career games since being drafted 28th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2009 and remains under contract through to the end of next season with a cap hit of $775,000.

In 44 games with the Panthers, he recorded two goals, six assists and 44 shots in just under 16 minutes of ice time.
