1989 - Yzerman reaches 100 points in 50 games
Detroit Red Wings center Steve Yzerman records his 100th point in the 50th game of the season after scoring a goal and adding two assists in an 8-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Yzerman, then only 23, became the fourth player in NHL history tor record 100 points in 50 games or less, joining Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Bernie Nicholls.
He finished third among the league's scoring leaders that season, surrounded by the aforementioned players:

2008 - Savard scores All-Star winner in return to Atlanta
Marc Savard scores with less than 20 seconds left in the third period of the 56th NHL All-Star Game at Philips Arena in Atlanta, giving the Eastern Conference an 8-7 victory over the Western Conference.
The Boston Bruins center, who had spent three seasons with the Thrashers, was named to the roster as an injury replacement for Dany Heatley, another former Atlanta hockey player.
Savard also assisted on a game-tying goal earlier in the third period, scored by Eric Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes, who took home the MVP honors.
