Blue Jackets' Sergei Bobrovsky out 4-6 weeks with groin injury

The Columbus Blue Jackets face a significant amount of time ahead without their all-world goalie.

Sergei Bobrovsky has been placed on injured reserve and is expected to be out of the lineup for four-to-six weeks with a groin injury, the club announced Monday.

Bobrovsky, who's posted a 16-15-2 record with a .913 save percentage and one shutout in 33 games, was forced to miss Sunday's All-Star Game in Columbus due to the injury. He could be back in late February or early March - by which time it may be too late to help boost the Blue Jackets' playoff aspirations.
