Flyers' Rinaldo facing suspension as NHL gets back to business

Eric Hartline / USA Today

Keep your phone charged, Zac Rinaldo.

The Philadelphia Flyers tough guy is set to have a phone hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety for his injurious hit on Kris Letang of the Pittsburgh Penguins, which occurred Jan. 20 in the Flyers' last game before the All-Star break.

Rinaldo declined an in-person hearing - a handy decision in retrospect, as a blizzard rages in New York and surrounding states.

Rinaldo's phone is set to ring Monday at 4:30 pm ET.

Video of the incident can be seen below.
