Marcel Goc will make Blues debut Thursday against Predators

Veteran forward Marcel Goc will center the fourth line in his St. Louis Blues debut Thursday against the Nashville Predators.

Goc was acquired in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. His new linemates are Steve Ott and Ryan Reaves.

Goc was one of the main penalty killers for Pittsburgh, but Blues coach Ken Hitchcock plans to ease him into St. Louis' style of play.

"We're not going to overplay Marcel. We're going to just weed him in," Hitchcock said, according to NHL.com correspondent Louie Korac. "The biggest change is when we get into penalty killing and see how he does it, because that's probably the biggest difference."
