Maple Leafs' Lupul returns after missing 11 games with lower-body injury

Joffrey Lupul will try to snap his team out of a slump.

The Toronto Maple Leafs forward has been added to the active roster and will suit up for Thursday's game against the Arizona Coyotes, according to the club's public relations staff.

Lupul, out since Dec. 29 with a lower-body injury, recorded nine goals, eight assists and 58 shots in 26 games prior to the injury.

The Leafs have lost seven games in a row, scoring just six goals, so an infusion of offense in the form of the talented - if oft-injured - winger could be just what the squad needs.
