Sharks' Mike Brown to miss another month with broken fibula

Timothy T. Ludwig / USA TODAY Sports

San Jose Sharks forward Mike Brown will reportedly be out for at least another month with a broken right fibula.

Brown is out for six-to-eight weeks from Dec. 9, when he suffered the injury, according to Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area.

"Just the way this season has gone," Brown said Sunday. He is using a wheeled knee crutch and has a boot on his right leg.

The winger was placed on injured reserve a day after a 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers, and has not played since.

He also missed eight weeks earlier in the season with a broken finger.
