Marc-Andre Fleury may have made his biggest stop of the season.
The Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender tested negative for mumps and was cleared to play Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche, the club announced.
The Penguins are still awaiting results on Olli Maatta and Robert Bortuzzo, and Thomas Greiss was placed in isolation and will be tested for the virus as a precaution.
Fleury is playing some of the best hockey of his career, with a save percentage of .927 through 23 games.
