Report: Tanguay cleared to play Tuesday

Colorado Avalanche forward Alex Tanguay will reportedly return to the lineup for Tuesday night's game against the Arizona Coyotes.

Tanguay took an Alex Ovechkin slap shot to the face in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Washington Capitals. He left the game and didn't return. He later missed Saturday's 4-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.
On Friday, the Avalanche announced Tanguay had suffered a facial fracture.
The veteran has 11 points in 20 games this season.
