The Washington Capitals earned a win in Denver over the Colorado Avalanche Thursday night thanks in large part to an incredible goal from Alex Ovechkin.
Ovechkin took defenseman Jan Hejda for a ride, pulled goaltender Reto Berra out of position and then capitalized on the fast boards. Decent.
