Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin is still feeling the affects of a hit by Rangers forward Chris Kreider from Monday, and will be out of the lineup on Thursday night when the Wild host the San Jose Sharks.

"He’s sore in a couple different spots," Wild head coach Mike Yeo said of Brodin earlier this week, according to Mike Russo of the Minnesota Star Tribune. "You look at that hit, he went into the boards and it’s pretty much like being in a car crash. He’s a really tough kid. It’s a pretty amazing that he was able to come back and play to be honest with you. We’ve seen him do this over and over again. He’s tough. If he’s sore, we’re a little bit concerned."

In an appearance on KFAN1003 on Thursday morning, Yeo confirmed that while Brodin is feeling better he would be out of the lineup on Thursday night.

Brodin skated on his own during Thursday's morning skate, according to Russo.
