Jayne-Kamin Oncea / USA TODAY Sports

After an emotional ceremony prior to the Ottawa Senators and New Jersey Devils game Saturday, both teams took their time getting into a rhythm.

Three goals were scored in the second period, seeing the Devils lead 2-1 before Bobby Ryan evened things up to force overtime in the dying minutes of the third period.

Jaromir Jagr scored his NHL leading 125th-career game-winning goal, snapping the Devils four-game losing streak.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Each of the Senators' goals came on the power play thanks to Alex Chiasson and Bobby Ryan.
  • Corey Schneider made 29-of-31 saves before extra time, facing 14 shots in the third period.
  • Robin Lehner made an amazing save on the penalty kill just moments before a turnover that left Jaromir Jagr with a one-on-one opportunity, which he buried for his 125th-career game-winning goal.
  • The Senators' four-game winning streak ended in overtime on the penalty kill.
