Blues place Stastny on IR with shoulder injury
The St. Louis Blues officially placed Paul Stastny on injured reserve on Friday, almost a week after he suffered a shoulder injury that will apparently sideline him for at least a month.
The Blues recalled Dmitrij Jaskin from the AHL to fill Stastny's roster spot. Jaskin, 21, has four points in four games with the Chicago Wolves and recorded two points in 18 games with St. Louis last season.
Stastny registered four points in his first four games with the Blues.
