VIDEO: Oilers' Nugent-Hopkins scores after stealing puck from Capitals' Ovechkin

The Washington Capitals badly outshot the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday, but only held the lead for 20 seconds thanks to this heads-up play by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on a fellow first-overall pick.
On the play after Mike Green scored to put the Capitals up 2-1, Alex Ovechkin wound up for a slap shot from the point but fanned on the attempt, allowing Nugent-Hopkins to poke the puck away and take off down the ice. The 21-year-old finished the play with a wrist shot over Braden Holtby's right pad.

Ovechkin was selected first overall in 2004. Nugent-Hopkins went first in 2011.
