Red Wings' Datsyuk practices, expected to return Tuesday vs. Canadiens

Charles LeClaire / USA Today

Pavel Datsyuk skated on a line with Henrik Zetterberg and Justin Abdelkader in practice Monday, a big sign that he's set to make his season debut Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens, according to Ansar Khan of MLive.

While an official decision won't be made until Tuesday, it's expected he will indeed suit up.

Datsyuk has been sidelined early on due to a shoulder injury suffered during the preseason.

In 45 games last season, he scored 17 goals and added 20 assists.
