Hockey coaches have always had a complicated relationship with "too many men on the ice" penalties, but KHL coach Andrei Nazarov took it to a whole new level with his outburst on Tuesday.

Nazarov took exception to a too many men penalty called against his team, Barys Astana, during a road game against Admiral Vladivostok, and he let the referees know his displeasure by littering the ice with objects from the bench and unleashing a barrage of obscene gestures.

Referees ejected him for the display, at which point Nazarov sent a little bit of ill-will in the direction of Admiral fans as well:

Nazarov is a former NHL enforcer who was drafted 10th overall in 1992 by the San Jose Sharks. He recorded 1,409 penalty minutes in 571 contests before retiring in 2006. No stranger to outbursts as a coach, Nazarov once fought a fan with a stick during a game in 2011.
