Star Performer

The Flyers built a noticeable edge in puck-possession after the first period, forcing Lundqvist to play his best game of the three thus far. Lundqvist made 13 saves in the second period and robbed Scott Hartnell on this chance early in the third:

Turning Point

The Flyers entered the second period on a high note after Mark Streit scored late in the first to trim their deficit to 2-1, but Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi subdued Philadelphia with this blast from the point to restore New York's two-goal lead.

Highlight Reel

Dan Carcillo dressed for the first time in the series and made his presence felt with a goal in the third period. Carcillo taunted Flyers fans after the goal in a way only Carcillo can.

St. Louis continued his strong series with this deflection of Girardi's point shot midway through the first period. The 38-year-old has five points (two goals, three assists) thus far.

Quote of the night

Carcillo received a rude welcome to the playoffs from Philadelphia's Matt Read, who hit him in the head early in the third period. Never one to shy away from pouring gas on a fire, Carcillo had some choice words for Flyers fans - and the city of Philadelphia - after the game was over.
