Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Minnesota Wild after this vicious collision with forward Erik Haula.

Lehtonen was bleeding and received treatment on the ice prior to heading to the locker room, according to Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News.
Haula was assessed a major penalty for charging as well as a game misconduct.
Tim Thomas was called upon to make his Stars debut in Lehtonen's absence.
