Luongo practices with Panthers for the first time since trade
What was old is new again for Roberto Luongo, who rejoined his former team the Florida Panthers this week. On Thursday, Luongo practiced with his new teammates for the first time since he was re-acquired in a shocking trade this past Tuesday.
Luongo is pretty lucky in that he has Panthers specific goalie gear ready to go.

"I had a couple (in storage)" Luongo said. "I had to find them though..."
The two-time gold medallist should prove an instant upgrade in net for a Panthers team that ranks dead last in the league in even-strength save percentage this season. He was certainly looking good on Thursday.
