NHL focusing on Sochi, not 2018 Olympics: Bettman
If you were hoping the NHL would have a moment of clarity and share their feelings about the future of Olympic hockey at the next tournament in 2018, prepare to be disappointed. They don't really want to talk about South Korea right now.
"It's nothing that’s been discussed," commissioner Gary Bettman said to reporters on Tuesday, via The Canadian Press. "It's nothing that will be discussed while we're here in Sochi."
Another interesting tidbit from the news conference:
Bettman said that 20 years ago, he asked former IOC President Samaranch about putting hockey in Summer Games, but IOC was not interested.

The league is expected to make a decision soon, which will also be based on feedback from players.
