VIDEO: Ryan Murray just keeps making plays for the Blue Jackets
Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Ryan Murray has emerged as a difference maker for the surprising Ohio based squad in his rookie season. The Blue Jackets, currently riding the wave of an eight game win streak, are firing on all cylinders at the moment, and Murray's puck moving ability is a big reason why.
In the past eleven games Murray has managed 9(!) assists, which is especially impressive when one considers the top-four minutes Murray is logging, and the secondary competition he's coming out ahead against. On Saturday night Murray reprised his uncanny John Stockton impersonation, setting up Blue Jackets forward Derek McKenzie with a pitch perfect slot feed.
