Ben Scrivens: First game with Oilers a 'good learning experience'
Goaltender Ben Scrivens took the optimistic route when describing his debut with the Oilers Thursday after allowing four goals in a loss to the Wild.
Scrivens says he would have liked to make a couple more stops tonight but called tonight's game a "good learning experience".

Aside from Nate Prosser's goal, which Scrivens got a piece of with his glove, none of Minnesota's goals could be pinned on the netminder, who was routinely left to fend for himself by Edmonton's porous defense.
Oilers welcome Scrivens with typically slack defensive effort. Came in 23rd in NHL allowing 31.7 shots per game. MIN finished with 33.
