Dubnyk talks about being dealt to Nashville, Oilers adding Scrivens
As goaltender Devan Dubnyk heads off to Nashville in lieu of Ben Scrivens, he took some time to reflect on what precipitated the Oilers' decision to shake up their goaltending.
"It's been an unfortunate season and the team wanted to go in a different direction," Dubnyk said via the team's official Twitter account.
"This organization gave me the best opportunity of a lifetime in the NHL and I'm very grateful for that...It hasn't really set in to be honest."
Meanwhile, the Kings took an opportunity to charge the Oilers with taking care of the jettisoned Scrivens.
