Report: Florida Panthers to host 2015 NHL Entry Draft

The 2015 NHL Entry Draft will reportedly have a tropical flavor.

According to Miami Herald reporter George Richards, the Florida Panthers will host the 2015 NHL Entry Draft at their barn in Sunrise, Florida. The league is expected to officially announce the news on Tuesday.

The 2015 NHL Entry Draft class is headlined by super-prospect Connor McDavid, who at 16 is already one of the best players in the Ontario Hockey League. McDavid is widely regarded as the most talented hockey prospect since Sidney Crosby, and his presence at the top of the class means that the 2015 Draft will be eagerly anticipated by hockey fans. It also might be proceeded by the NHL's version of the Battle of Kursk (histories greatest tank battle).

Of course it's all thanks to the good people of Broward Country, who agreed to buy the team a new scoreboard in exchange for being allowed to host the event.
