After management decided it would be best for Ottawa Senators forward Jason Spezza to stay home from their four-game 11-day road trip, the Captain has decided he will return Wednesday.

The Senators on a four-game win streak which is good news for Spezza, considering he knows he won't be able to play his regular minutes right away after nursing a hip injury.

"As a player you want to jump back in and get going but there's only a week I think. I missed a week, I've been skating for the past four days so I actually felt pretty good and pretty strong out there today," he told OttawaSenators.com.

"We're going to Colorado who is one of the toughest rinks to play against, one of the toughest teams to play against at home right now so that's going to be a tough one and then Nashville, Minnesota. They're good teams but you have to win games and you have to win games on the road too. It's great for us to get some home wins, nice for us to win in a tough, tough building in Montreal and hopefully we can carry that in."

Spezza missed four games, all of which happened to be wins.
