Report: Thornton's hearing will happen after board of governors meeting
Bruins forward Shawn Thornton might have to wait until the end of the week to find out how long he will be suspended for his attack on Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik.
Looks likely that Shawn Thornton's hearing will be on Thursday or Friday, after the board of governors meeting in Pebble Beach.

The NHL's board of governors has its annual December meeting on Monday and Tuesday. Director of player safety Brendan Shanahan is attending the meeting.
