Report: Islanders set to recall F Ryan Strome
Losers of nine games in a row, the New York Islanders placed forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard on waivers on Monday, and it appears as though the beneficiary will be 20-year old forward Ryan Strome.
New York's fifth overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft is expected to be recalled on Tuesday, and he'll make the leap up to the big club on a bit of a hot streak.
Meanwhile, AHL announces Ryan Strome wins 2nd straight player of week award. There won't be a third straight. #Isles

Strome leads the AHL in scoring with nine goals and 24 assists in 23 games this season, and has yet to make his NHL début.
The Islanders are currently in California in the midst of a five-game road trip.
