Claude Julien 'optimistic' that Boychuk will play Tuesday vs. Flames

The Boston Bruins depleted blue line may have a familiar face back in the mix as the team travels to Calgary to play the Flames on Tuesday.

Boychuk missed Boston's pair of weekend games after a collision with Max Pacioretty of the Canadiens during a game on Dec. 5.

The Bruins have also seen defensemen Adam McQuaid, Dougie Hamilton and Kevan Miller fall out of the lineup with various injuries in recent days, so Boychuk's return would offer some much needed relief as the team heads out on a Western Canadian road trip.
