Tyler Bozak placed on long-term injured reserve, out until after Christmas

Toronto Maple Leafs center Tyler Bozak has been placed on long-term injured reserve with an oblique strain, according to Chris Johnston of Sportnet.

As such, he will be ineligible to return to the lineup until Dec. 27 at the earliest, and will miss a minimum of 11 more games.

It's the latest in a string on injuries for Bozak; the 27-year old missed the end of Toronto's playoff run last season with a torn triceps muscle and sat out 12 games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.
