Dreger on Gleason: 'A trade could materialize upon his return'
The Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs have been rumored to be talking about a John-Michael Liles and Tim Gleason trade. When Gleason went down with an lower-body injury those talks went away.
Gleason should be back mid-week. Sounds like a trade could materialize upon his return. He will have to consent to move.

As Darren Dreger suggests, if Gleason comes back from injury this week it is very possible a trade is put back on the table. Liles has been doing well with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, which is incentive for the Hurricanes to jump on the chance to acquire him.
