The NHL didn't buy that Grigorenko had 'general body soreness'
On Wednesday morning the NHL rejected Buffalo's attempt to re-assign forward Mikhail Grigorenko to the Rochester Americans of the AHL. Apparently the league just didn't buy what the Sabres were selling:
Basically, the NHL concluded that Mikhail Grigorenko did not have "general body soreness" and was not eligible for conditioning loan.
