VIDEO: Filip Forsberg scores first NHL goal, celebrates awesomely
The Nashville Predators organization will surely be hoping that this Filip Forsberg goal on Tuesday night represents the start of a new era for the franchise.
Forsberg cashed in with a two-man advantage in the first period of Nashville's game against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. A dribbling Seth Jones point shot was deflected Forsberg's way by Predators veteran Patric Hornqvist, and Forsberg made no mistake on the finish:
Jones picked up his first career NHL point on the sequence, and it was also Forsberg's first NHL goal.
Forsberg also deserves some bonus points for his quirky goal celebration, which included a multiple fist pump dance, and a little bit of an Ovy leap into the glass.
