Report: Carrick will start the season with Capitals

Capitals defenseman Connor Carrick looks to start the season in Washington, according to multiple sources.

The 19-year old is just 5'10" but has impressed the Capitals with his focus and execution. He can still be transferred to Hershey later in the season but Carrick looks to be a Capital on Opening Day.
