Stepan comments on contract signing

After Alain Vigneault weighed in on Derek Stepan finally coming to terms with the New York Rangers, Stepan himself commented on the contract situation and his return to the team.

This is probably a good thing. 

Stepan confirmed that there were no hard feelings due to the holdout, according to Blue Shirts United.

There's no bitterness. At a young age in my career I got to see the business side of it, and it doesn't go as smoothly as you think sometimes. I'm just glad we came to an agreement where we got something done in time.
