Photo: Craig Anderson unveils new goalie mark

After previewing a new goalie mask on Twitter, Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson made a full reveal late on Thursday via his personal website.

For this angle, Anderson said "You play for the logo on the front, not the name on the back."

For the top, Anderson added a depiction of the "iconic" Peace Tower from Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

And for the left side, Anderson said "Staying consistent, but I’m not going to lie – I love the new stingray. So it gets the usual Corvette treatment, and my artist put the heritage “O” on the shoulder of the monster driving it."

Anderson also featured his son's initials on the back of the mask.

Anderson will debut the new mask in Ottawa's season opener against the Buffalo Sabres on Oct. 5.
