Hal Gill sticking with Flyers for 'a little longer'
Hal Gill's chances of becoming a permanent fixture on the Philadelphia Flyers roster were boosted when it was announced that the 38-year old defenseman would be sticking with the team past a large round of training camp cuts.

Paul Holmgren said that the Flyers are only taking 26 or 28 players to Lake Placid. 44 players in camp now. Cuts tomorrow.

The Flyers will partake in team bonding training camp sessions at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid from Sept. 19th to 22nd.
