Panthers invite Tom Gilbert to training camp

The Florida Panthers are handing out professional tryouts like candy on Monday, adding defenseman Tom Gilbert to their defenseman according to Pierre LeBrun:

Gilbert is a very legitimate top-four defenseman who has mostly played the right side in his career. If Gilbert earns a contract at Panthers training camp he'll join elite puck-mover Brian Campbell and under-rated shutdown defenseman Mike Weaver on what would then be a loaded right-side.
