NHL Game Summary - Los Angeles at Anaheim

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - It didn't take long for Anaheim to shake off its first home regulation loss of the season.

Frederik Andersen stopped 30 shots and Patrick Maroon scored the winner in the second period as the Ducks took a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings at Honda Center on Thursday.

Anaheim had dropped a 3-2 decision at home to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday, its first, and so far, only loss in regulation at home this season as the team is now 21-1-2 in front of the friendly crowd.

After the loss on Tuesday, Anaheim forward Ryan Getzlaf said that the upcoming Stadium Series has been a distraction, but now the game is looming next as these two clubs will meet at Dodger Stadium on Saturday night.

Anze Kopitar scored the lone goal of the game for the Kings, who are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. Jonathan Quick made 19 saves in the loss.
