NHL Game Summary - St. Louis at Detroit

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Jaroslav Halak stopped 22 shots to help the St. Louis Blues take a 4-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Monday.

Barret Jackman, Jay Bouwmeester, Kevin Shattenkirk and Magnus Paajarvi all scored for the Blues, who had lost three of four coming into the game.

Gustav Nyquist scored the only goal of the game for the Red Wings, who have dropped three of their last four.

Jimmy Howard started the game in net, but left halfway through the second period with an undisclosed illness. He had allowed three goals on 25 shots with Peter Mrazek taking over and giving up a goal on 14 shots.
