NHL Game Summary - Washington at Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jakub Voracek scored twice to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals to cap a home- and-home set.

Matt Read posted a goal and an assist while Wayne Simmonds and Mark Streit each scored for the Flyers, who blew a three-goal lead in Sunday's game in Washington and lost the game in the shootout.

Steve Mason turned away 24 shots for Philadelphia, which had dropped four of five coming into the game.

Alex Ovechkin and Eric Fehr scored for the Capitals, who had won four of five. Braden Holtby allowed five goals on 35 shots in the loss.
