NHL Game Summary - Winnipeg at Columbus
Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Evander Kane's goal midway through the third period proved to be the difference in the Winnipeg Jets' 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.
Kane, who also had an assist, returned to the lineup after missing six games with a lower-body injury for the Jets, who snapped a three-game skid. Mark Scheifele and Bryan Little also lit the lamp.
Al Montoya stopped 22-of-24 shots in the victory.
RJ Umberger and Fedor Tyutin scored for the Blue Jackets, who had won six straight against the Winnipeg franchise.
Mike McKenna turned aside 29-of-32 shots for Columbus, which has lost two in a row.
