NHL Game Summary - Philadelphia at Ottawa

Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Jason Spezza scored in the third round of the shootout as the Ottawa Senators took a 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.

Spezza was the final shooter for Ottawa and he slowed down in front of the net before deking to the forehand and stuffing the puck in. Sean Couturier then rung his wrister off the right post to end the game.

Clarke MacArthur scored twice and Kyle Turris and Patrick Wiercioch each posted a goal for the Senators, who came into the game having lost four of five. Craig Anderson gave up four goals on 29 shots, and stopped all three shooters in the shootout.

Kimmo Timonen, Luke Schenn and Michael Raffl each posted a goal and an assist for the Flyers, who have dropped three of their last four. Steven Mason gave up four goals on 34 shots in the loss.
