NHL Game Summary - Philadelphia at Detroit

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Sean Couturier scored twice and added a pair of assists, as the Philadelphia Flyers used five unanswered goals to rally past the Detroit Red Wings, 6-3, on Wednesday at Joe Louis Arena.

Philadelphia trailed 3-1 late in the second, but got a goal apiece from Matt Read, Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell, and a pair from Couturier to secure just its second win in its last 20 regular-season road games against the Red Wings.

Read and Hartnell each added two assists, Giroux and Steve Downie donated two points apiece, and Steve Mason made 32 saves for the Flyers, who have won three of their last four games.

Tomas Tatar tallied twice and Johan Franzen also lit the lamp for the Red Wings, who had a four-game win streak halted.

Jimmy Howard allowed five goals on 33 shots in defeat.
