NHL Game Summary - Phoenix at St. Louis

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored 56 seconds into overtime to lift the Phoenix Coyotes over the St. Louis Blues, 3-2, on Tuesday.

David Moss and Mikkel Boedker lit the lamp in regulation for the Coyotes, who improved to 13-4-2 on the season. Mike Smith stopped 37-of-39 shots.

Maxim Lapierre and Roman Polak scored for the Blues, who had a three-game winning streak snapped. Jaroslav Halak made 16 saves.

St. Louis was trying for its best start in franchise history on Tuesday. The Blues came into the game with an 11-2-2 record through 15 games, matching the best start by the franchise over that span first set in 1993-94 and done again in 1997-98. St. Louis lost its 16th game of the campaign in the aforementioned seasons.
