NHL Game Summary - Anaheim at Florida

Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Brad Boyes netted the game-winner 4:29 into the third period, as the Florida Panthers potted three unanswered goals to rally for a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday at BB&T Center.

Trailing 2-0 after 20 minutes, Shawn Matthias and Scottie Upshall scored 1:10 apart in the second to even the contest before Boyes' backhander early in the third put the Panthers on top.

Tim Thomas turned away 32 shots, including 13 in the final frame to help snap Florida's nine-game skid and give interim head coach Peter Horachek his first win behind the Panthers' bench.

Andrew Cogliano and Hampus Lindholm each lit the lamp once for the Ducks, who had a nine-game point streak halted.

Rookie netminder Frederik Andersen entered the game undefeated in six starts this season, but gave up all three goals on 25 shots to absorb his first loss.
