NHL Game Summary - Detroit at Boston

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Weiss and Danny Cleary scored in a span of 2:20 midway through the second period, as the Detroit Red Wings squeezed past the Boston Bruins, 3-2, in matinee action from TD Garden.

Jonas Gustavsson made 28 saves for the win in relief of Jimmy Howard, who was a late scratch with a hand injury.

Loui Eriksson and Milan Lucic tallied for the Bruins, who have dropped two of three after beginning the year with two straight home wins.

Tuukka Rask stopped 24 shots in defeat.
