President Barack Obama, one of the biggest sports fans ever to grace the Oval Office, has issued congratulatory remarks to the Denver Broncos for capturing Super Bowl 50.

Obama spoke to Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak via telephone on Tuesday, and like the rest of the nation, appears to be in awe of their all-time great defense.

Broncos outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware was also on the call, and for good reason, after recording two sacks on Sunday.

As per custom, the Broncos will enjoy a trip to the White House at some point during 2016.
