Chris Harris: Broncos' defense is 'best of all time'

The Denver Broncos earned a Super Bowl 50 title Sunday after yet another commanding defensive performance, this time completely shutting down the NFL's most valuable player.

Having both finished the year with the league's top-ranked defense and successfully carrying that dominance over into the playoffs, the unit has earned every right to be considered alongside the best in football history.

Asked his opinion after the impressive performance against the Carolina Panthers, star cornerback Chris Harris believes his defense is without a doubt atop the all-time greats.

Denver ranked first in total yards allowed throughout the regular season, including a top-ranked showing against the pass and a third-place finish against the run.

Harris was certainly in a jovial mood, dismissing the Panthers' receivers as anemic opponents.

"All week they said we can't stop 'em. They talkin' bout (Ted) Ginn? About (Jerricho) Cotchery? Who are these guys?" Harris said to Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated.

The defense's seven sacks against Carolina, led by another 2.5 from Von Miller, tied the all-time Super Bowl record.
